About Us
Alpine Bookkeeping & Advisory is a local firm serving small businesses and non-profits since 2008 in Lake Tahoe and beyond.We understand the seasonal flow of the mountains and bring reliable, personal support to your finances—so you can focus on what you do best, running your small business. With Alpine Bookkeeping you can relax knowing your business finances are handled.We work with Quickbooks Online & Desktop, available both remotely or for those nearby, possibly on site.
Alpine Bookkeeping & Advisory was established in 2008 by Heather Rantz. Offering bookkeeping and financial support to a few service based businesses. She quickly realized there was great need for bookkeeping services and at the urging of several local CPA's, expanded offerings to non-profits, contractors, and retail businesses. Heather has a long history in finance with a background in equipment financing, mortgage financing, and accounting. She holds a degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in City & Regional Planning and supplemented with Accounting and Business classes locally.Heather has lived on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe for over 28 years with her family and beloved Golden Retriever, Ginger. Her two young adult children attend University of Utah and everyone has a deep passion for the mountain lifestyle, skiing, snowboarding, camping, hiking, fishing and more.
